The coastline is the main point of contact for ships, as well as the point of departure and destination that connects one place to the world across the seas. We have gradually broken down the stalwart barrier between the land and sea by reclaiming land from sea, and vice versa. By completing the Lock Gate 1 of Incheon Port Project awarded by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Far East District in 1959, we took the first step in the field of overseas infrastructure construction. By completing the Jubail Industrial Harbor Project in Saudi Arabia, the largest harbor project of the 20th century, we have positioned ourselves to date as a frontrunner in overseas infrastructure projects and a major player in the global construction industry.
