Hyundai E&C is taking the lead in expanding its green renewable energy business by actively responding to the global warming crisis as a leader in ESG management. It is expanding green renewable energy business portfolio by successfully completing the world's largest single geothermal-based Sarula Geothermal Power Plant (330MW) in 2018, Korea's first utility-grade ESS-linked photovoltaic power plant Seosan PV Power Plant (65MW) in 2019 and new, renewable energy power plant “Dasan Biomass Power Plant (109MW)” in 2021. In particular, Seosan PV Power Plant was an opportunity for Hyundai E&C to be recognized for excellence in technology and development capabilities as a renewable energy total solution provider, for having carried out the entire process of EPC (design/purchasing/construction) and O&M (operation/maintenance), including business development. Hyundai E&C will continue to work hard to overcome the global warming crisis by being actively aligned with the government’s energy policy and joining efforts of the international community to reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
