For the past 50 years, Hyundai E&C has been at the forefront of overseas transmission lines and substations and built more than 20,000km of transmission lines, which is equal to half of the circumference of the earth. Our technology is highly regarded in Middle Eastern markets, such as Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar and Libya, as well as in Asian markets such as Myanmar, Malaysia, Bangladesh, and Indonesia. Hyundai E&C is a global leader in the field of extra-high-voltage transmission lines and substations. We are also taking the lead in the construction of the global energy network by entering the HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) market, which will become the core technology of the next generation in the field of power transmission.
