Hyundai E&C has received green light to solidify our no.1 position in the redevelopment market for three consecutive years with a cumulative order for urban renewal projects almost reaching three trillion won this year.

Hyundai E&C has been selected to redevelop Macheon District 4 of the Geoyeo-Macheon New Town project which is the only new town project in three districts located in the southern part of the Hangang River. The Macheon District 4 project, valued at 383.4 billion won, aims to build 10 apartment buildings of 33 floors above ground and three basement levels, and various community facilities.

The Geoyeo-Macheon New Town project is expected to turn the area into a key residential district in the southeast area of Seoul by establishing an integrated life zone along with the neighboring Wirye New Town. Notably, Macheon District 4 will gain better accessibility to the southern part of the capital, as Seongnae Line Tram, slated to be completed in 2023, will be connected with Macheon Station of Seoul Subway Line 5, Bokjeong Station of Seoul Subway Line 8 and Bundang Line, and  a highly anticipated, new station of Wirye-Sinsa Line.

Hyundai E&C will cooperate with SMDP, an innovative global design studio, to successfully construct the new apartment complex to be named THE H Cloud.
